Dallas, Texas. A neighborhood pilot in planning.

More outside.

Meet your smallest new neighbor. Moskie is planning a different kind of mosquito control, using sterile males that don’t bite.

Local preview. Nothing is sent or saved.

A small change
to the life cycle.

Male mosquitoes don’t bite. Releasing sterile males can help interrupt the next generation of one mosquito species.

The science, via the CDC ↗
  1. Release the males.

Males are sterilized with radiation before release.

  2. They find a mate.

They mate with wild females of the same species.

  3. The eggs don’t hatch.

Repeated releases aim to reduce the target population over time.

Hello, Dallas.

We’re choosing where to begin. Nearby properties would help us coordinate releases and monitoring in one Dallas neighborhood.

A home, an HOA, or an outdoor space? Tell us where Moskie could begin.

Locations, delivery details, and pricing are still being developed.

A few questions, answered.

Will it control every kind of mosquito?

No. SIT targets a particular species. Other types can still be present, so other mosquito-control measures may still be needed.

Are these genetically modified mosquitoes?

No. Irradiation-based SIT does not genetically modify the mosquitoes. The males are sterilized with radiation before release.

When would I notice a difference?

We haven’t established a timeline. A Dallas pilot would need to measure local results before Moskie could make performance promises.

Can I book Moskie for my home yet?

Not yet. We’re choosing where to begin. The interest form is a local preview and doesn’t reserve a place, send your details, or book a service.
